My Home Décor Wishlist

I’m moving this year (which still feels SO WEIRD to say). And as we all know, a new space means new home décor! Well…at least that’s what it means for me, lol. I love some of the things I’m accumulated over the years while living in my condo, but I am excited to add some new things to my collection. Since I’ll be sharing a place with my boyfriend, I want to make sure that the things we (read: I) choose are reflective of both of our styles and taste. Although I’m sure I’ll have the final say with most of the design choices, I still want to be considerate! Haha.

Below are a few things that are on my wishlist.

Two-Tier Bookshelf

When you think of a bookshelf, you usually envision a somewhat bulky, vertical stand. Now, don’t get me wrong, my current bookshelf has done what I needed for it to do, but I love the idea of this two-tier horizontal option from Anthropologie. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a bookshelf designed like this, so it’s uniqueness is really appealing to me. Even if I don’t use this to hold all of my novels, I think this would look really cute styled with a bunch of my favorite coffee table books and décor items.

Handheld curtain tiebacks

I love quirky little home décor pieces! I love when a home has some whimsy and character to it. I’m really not into the stark white, Instagram and Tiktok-perfect aesthetics that a lot of people seem to be obsessed with these days. I need a little razzle dazzle, honey! Lol. When I saw these curtain tiebacks in the shape of a hand, I instantly added them to my wishlist. They’re just so fun and unexpected, but in a subtle and stylish kind of way.

Fern Bar Cabinet

There’s just something that’s so chic about a bar cabinet. I currently have a bar cart and while it is nice, I do like the idea of being able to stash my good glassware in an enclosed space. I’ve really been into mint green lately, and this bar cabinet from Anthro is the prettiest combo of sage and mint. This would be such a perfect pop of color against a neutral or even dark-colored room. The price point is definitely not in my budget at the moment, but a girl can dream!

Lulu Floor Lamp

I love when people find a way to add interesting textures in their home. It can be through rugs, upholstery on couches and chairs, and apparently…lamps! Lol. I never even considered purchasing a textured lamp before. I don’t even know if I knew they existed. This beautiful green floor lamp is wrapped in cotton velvet and features gold plating that accents the fabric color perfectly. I would die if I could put this in my living room! Fingers crossed it’ll go on sale soon.

Kori Modular Armless Sofa

So I’m normally not a fan of furniture that sits super low to the ground, but I will for sure make an exception for this beauty! Y’all. This sofa? Could it get any cuter?! I mean seriously – the dusty rose upholstery and those clay colored pillows are so fun. It reminds me of sherbert! Lol. My goal is to add more pops of color into our new space and I could see this sofa fitting in perfectly with my vision.
